The Fusion™ Analyst Agent is an intelligent, prompt-driven assistant designed to help users thoughtfully analyze, summarize, and report on content they provide via attachments, pasted text, or web URLs.

It guides users through a step-by-step content analysis process and presents insights in a format that supports business decision-making and operational clarity.

Key Capabilities

  • Reviews attachments, copied content, or URLs (with fallback if not accessible)
  • Summarizes with context using integrated knowledge and online research
  • Produces structured reporting:
    • Main Idea
    • Key Points
    • “5Ws & H”: What, Why, How, Who, When, Where
  • Offers follow-up options:
    • Deep dive explorations
    • Derivative content creation (e.g., slides, outlines, summaries)

Use Case Example

A user uploads a market research report. The Analyst Agent:

  1. Reviews the document and identifies the main idea
  2. Extracts key insights and themes
  3. Generates a table explaining What the report is about, Why it matters, How it was done, Who is involved, When it occurred, and Where it applies
  4. Asks the user if they’d like to explore a specific point further, or generate derivative materials

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Request for Content: Agent prompts user to provide the content (attachment, URL, or paste)
  2. Content Review: Agent applies its knowledge and optionally fetches online context
  3. In-Depth Summary: Structured output with key findings and a 5Ws & H table
  4. Next Step Prompt: User chooses a follow-up action

Admin Guide

Permissions

  • No additional app permissions or API access required
  • Fully operates within M365 Copilot Business Chat environment

Privacy and Data Handling

  • Data is used only during session runtime
  • Chat sessions including all user inputs are saved for later user access, and they may be deleted by the user at any time

Rollout Instructions

  1. Deploy via AppSource
  2. Set appropriate app policies for users or groups
